The inaugural Annual General Meeting of the National Golden Retriever Council was held on 21 March 1995. The positions of President and Secretary/Treasurer were established at that time. The President and Secretary/Treasurer are elected bi-annually and are responsible for the adminstration-coordination of the Council. They have no voting rights. Office Bearers have been:
